Watching the Writer Work, Day 4

Head colds are NO fun

I didn’t get a lot of sleep last night.

I woke up with a runny nose, but I otherwise felt refreshed and thought to myself that maybe I had decompressed and made up my for sleep deficit.

But as the day wore on, the runny nose wouldn’t quit and I could feel my throat becoming raw. Now, I can barely hold my eyes open.

I’ve got two trainings set for today. I also need to pop into town and take care of a few errands that, if I’m not careful, will wind up and have to wait until Monday given this is a holiday weekend.

Yesterday’s Work

I sent in my pitch yesterday. Now I wait until I hear back. While I wait, I should start working on the article. Even if I get reject (which I doubt, but we’ll see) I’ll still be able to use the piece in my own collection.

I also found a second place to pitch. I submitted my pitch. Again, it’s a wait and see.

I also made my Better Every Day post:

This Morning

I started working on my Oppenheimer review. But it’s weird, because I don’t feel like I have much to say. Even worse, I don’t have a mental outline. Maybe I should try making a mind map.

I mean, I have things I want to say, I’m just not sure that I have enough to say or that I can say it cogently to make a worthwhile review.

And I made my Better Every Day post: Card 312 Mmmm, Minty.
